What is BLACKOUT BARS?
BLACKOUT BARS is a traveling live music performance platform. We pull up to different cities and film independent and emerging artists performing their music in high-quality vertical video, then publish those performances on our socials.
How much does a performance cost?
Single performance is $150, double is $250, and triple is $350. Check the Pricing page for full details.
How do I book?
Pick an upcoming event, choose your package, and fill out the booking form. If your city isn't listed yet, send us an interest form and we'll reach out when we're headed your way.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to perform and secure your spot. The only exception: if we reschedule an event date, we'll contact you and you can either stay on the list for the new date or get a refund.
Is the microphone live?
No. Every artist needs to bring their song prerecorded — the videos are lip-synced, not live mic performances. Send us your track before the shoot and we'll play it on set so you can perform to it.
Can I perform multiple songs?
Yes. Each filmed performance is one song — the Double and Triple packages let you perform two or three.
How long does it take to receive my performance?
At most 2–3 weeks. We'll confirm your exact timeline when your booking is locked in.
Will my performance be posted on your Instagram?
Yes. Your video is posted on our Instagram and TikTok, and you'll be invited to collaborate on the post so it shows up on your profile too.
How is my performance shared, and do I get the full video?
We edit a high-impact snippet of your song and post it to our social platforms (Instagram & TikTok), then send you a collaboration invite so it goes up on your profile too. You'll also get a direct download link to your full, uncut performance to keep and use however you want.
Can I get a refund on my deposit?
Deposits are non-refundable. The only time we refund is if we reschedule an event date — we'll contact you and you can either keep your spot for that event or get a refund.
Can I change the city I'm performing in?
Yes — reach out through the Contact form, DM @blackout.bars on Instagram, or call/text 682-331-0505 and we'll help you switch.
What cities does BLACKOUT BARS visit?
We travel to new cities regularly. Check the Events page for confirmed stops, and follow @blackout.bars for announcements.
Can I book if my city isn't listed?
Submit the interest form with your city. Demand from artists helps us decide where we go next.
What happens after I submit my booking?
Our team reviews your submission and reaches out with next steps, including deposit payment and event-day details.
